Addiction doesn’t happen in isolation, and treatment shouldn’t either. That’s why Mesa Detox is one of the few medical detox facilities in Arizona that allows cell phone use during treatment. We believe staying connected to family, work, and support systems is essential for recovery. This access also helps our staff recognize real-life stressors patients may encounter and guide them toward healthier coping strategies beyond substance use.
Each patient enjoys a private room, a personal bathroom, and access to DirecTV for enhanced comfort throughout their stay. This setup fosters a private, supportive environment for managing physical and mental withdrawal symptoms with the help of our medical team. Additionally, select rooms feature workstations for those who need to maintain work commitments while undergoing medical detox.
At Detox Mesa, we understand that withdrawal symptoms can affect appetite and cause cravings at any time. That’s why we provide a 24/7 on-site café stocked with a variety of meals, snacks, and beverages. Access to familiar and preferred foods offers comfort and nourishment throughout the detox process.
At Mesa Detox, our board-certified medical team has developed evidence-based addiction treatment options to help clients begin their journey to sobriety.
Understanding that you’re not alone in your addiction is a crucial step toward lasting recovery. That’s why Mesa Detox offers optional group therapy sessions, allowing patients to explore the root causes of their addiction and its impact on themselves and their loved ones.
During intake, our board-certified medical team conducts a comprehensive physical and mental assessment. This helps us anticipate and manage withdrawal symptoms while identifying any co-occurring mental health conditions.
The primary goal of medical detox is to safely and comfortably eliminate substances from your body, allowing you to focus on sobriety. Some substances, like alcohol and opioids, can trigger life-threatening withdrawal symptoms that require medical supervision. Even milder symptoms can be managed with proper care, helping patients stay committed to their long-term recovery goals.
Medical detox focuses on removing drugs and alcohol from the body, but we also emphasize preparing the mind for recovery. Our licensed staff offers individual therapy sessions, helping patients build a strong foundation for lasting sobriety.
At intake, each patient is assigned a dedicated case manager who creates a personalized long-term addiction treatment plan. This typically involves transitioning to inpatient rehab or outpatient therapy after completing medical detox.
Detox Mesa proudly serves communities across the Valley, including Phoenix, Cave Creek, Paradise Valley, Rio Verde, and beyond. Our mission is to help as many individuals as possible on their journey to recovery.
