Addiction doesn’t occur in isolation, and neither should treatment. That’s why we are one of the few medical detox facilities in Arizona that permit cell phone use during treatment. We believe patients should stay connected with their families, jobs, and support systems while focusing on recovery. Allowing outside interaction also helps our staff identify real-life stressors patients may face and guide them toward healthy coping strategies beyond substance use.
Every patient is provided with a private room, a private bathroom, and access to DirecTV for added comfort during their stay. This ensures a private and supportive environment for managing both physical and mental withdrawal symptoms with the assistance of our medical team. Additionally, select rooms are equipped with workstations for those who need to continue working while undergoing medical detox.
At Scottsdale Detox, we recognize that withdrawal symptoms can lead to missed meals or unexpected cravings at any hour. To support our patients, we offer a 24/7 on-site café stocked with a variety of meals, snacks, and beverages. Having access to familiar and preferred foods provides comfort during this physically demanding process.
At Scottsdale Detox, our board-certified medical team has designed a range of evidence-based addiction treatment options to support clients in starting their journey to sobriety.
Recognizing that you are not alone in your addiction is a powerful step toward long-term recovery. That’s why we offer optional group therapy sessions at Scottsdale Detox, providing patients with the opportunity to explore the root causes of their addiction and understand its impact on themselves and those around them.
Upon intake, our board-certified medical team conducts a thorough physical and mental assessment. This allows us to anticipate and manage withdrawal symptoms while identifying any co-occurring mental health conditions.
The main purpose of medical detox is to safely and comfortably remove substances from your body, allowing you to focus on sobriety. Certain substances, such as alcohol and opioids, can cause life-threatening withdrawal symptoms that require medical supervision. Even milder symptoms can be managed with proper treatment, helping patients stay focused on their long-term recovery goals.
While medical detox aims to cleanse the body of drugs and alcohol, we also prioritize preparing the mind for recovery. Our licensed staff provide individual therapy sessions, laying the foundation for patients to continue their journey toward lasting sobriety.
Upon intake, each patient is assigned a dedicated case manager to develop a personalized long-term addiction treatment plan. This often includes transitioning to inpatient rehab or outpatient therapy after completing medical detox.
Scottsdale Detox is committed to serving communities across the Valley, including Phoenix, Cave Creek, Paradise Valley, Rio Verde, and beyond. Our goal is to support as many individuals as possible on their path to recovery.
